I respect your privacy and a committed to protecting the personal information you share with me. This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect, how I use it, and the choices you have regarding your data. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g., name, address, e-mail addresses, user behaviour.

About me

I provide psychological counselling services (Psychologischer Berater), including consultations, resources, and online workshops. As part of this work, I may collect certain personal information to deliver my services. These may include: name and email (used to contact clients and potential clients, and schedule services), and IP address (automatically collected by my website provider's server logs).

My services are provided as psychological counselling (Psychologische Beratung) and do not constitute formal medical treatment in accordance with German law.

Privacy principles

My approach to privacy is guided by three principles:

  • Transparency — I clearly explain what data I collect and why.
  • Control — You decide how your information is used and can request changes at any time.
  • Security — I protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.

Booking

I use Carepatron to facilitate booking and payments and Doxy.me to provide online counselling sessions. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is in place with these providers. Both Doxy.me, and Carepatron are GDPR compliant.

Special Category Data (Counselling Notes)

In the course of psychological counselling, health-related information may be discussed. Processing of this data is based on your explicit consent (Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time.

Cookies and similar tracking technologies

I use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Improve the performance and usability of my website.
  • Understand how visitors use my services.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features of my site may not work as expected if you do.

How do I use your personal information?

Server-Log-Dateien

Der Provider der Seiten erhebt und speichert automatisch Informationen in sogenannten Server-Log-Dateien:

  • Hostname des zugreifenden Rechners
  • Uhrzeit der Serveranfrage

3. Dienste von Drittanbietern (Processors)

Mit diesen Anbietern wurden Auftragsverarbeitungsverträge (AVV) geschlossen.

Carepatron (Buchung & Zahlungen)

  • Zweck: Vertragsanbahnung und -erfüllung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO).

Doxy.me (Online-Videoberatung)

  • Zweck: Durchführung der psychologischen Beratung (Art. 9 Abs. 2 lit. a DSGVO).

4. Besondere Kategorien von Daten (Gesundheitsdaten)

Dies erfolgt auf Grundlage Ihrer ausdrücklichen Einwilligung. Ich unterliege der beruflichen Schweigepflicht.

5. Ihre Rechte

  • Auskunft über gespeicherte Daten (Art. 15 DSGVO).
  • Berichtigung oder Löschung (Art. 16 & 17 DSGVO).
  • Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18 DSGVO).
  • Widerruf der Einwilligung.
